Anticipation

So, I am (almost) packed for Harmony Highlands!!
And the anticipation of greatness is..........a lot.
Today I will:

-finish packing for singing school
-clean my room that is "a constant war zone" (thank you Jordan.)
-work on the gift
-hang out with my friend Amy
-go to the lake.

And we're going to a wedding this weekend...
Anyways, so it's a beautiful day outside,
hope you enjoy it!
Oh....up there is a "multilengthwave sun"!
Isn't it great? .........or not :)

Um...................Have a(n).........................................incredible day!

Sunflowers

I planted some sunflowers around various parts of the house and garden, and it makes me so happy to see them already sprouting from the ground :)
It will be Sunflowers Galore!

Hokay, so this weekend we went to the lake.....It rained all weekend. But it gave me good reason to work on whitney's birthday present, which I cannot disclose the details of.
Anyways, So it was a fun time to spend with family, playing scrabble.

Does anybody else get sudden jolts of excitement and are not able to control yourself for about 6 seconds??
Well, yeah, that's me, thinking about singing school...thinking about packing for singing school....which ironically, I like packing for singing schools....I guess it's just a little peek at what greatness is to come!
So the sleeping situation for the girls is sketchy, but aside from that, I think it will be super fun this year!
Johnnie and I are going to be the middle school team captains
Whitney and Maitlyn are going to be the little kids captains!
I'm looking forward to everything: Devotions, praising God, singing, people, everything!

So, while I unpack from the lake and wash and repack for singing school, you should have a phenominal day today!

Call Me Crazy......

I just made hot chocolate. In June.
It's summer for crying out loud..do you think I'm insane for making it? I sure do.
But I was searching for i don't really know what in the pantry...and came across.....hot chocolate.
Should I?
I mean...it's 80 something degrees outside...but not inside, I'm actually quite chilly at the moment.
So yes. I will make some. It's actually VERY good :D

So I'm drinking hot chocolate, and counting pennies... You have the right to make fun of me. Go ahead.

And have a good day!

Lakes and Babies

So, I apologize for not posting as often as I should.
You would think, "hey it's summer! I have all the time in the world to post!"
But instead I just camp out at the Pritchett's and Blevins' house.
I left last Thursday (may 23) and didn't come back until June 5th.

I already miss my cousins....

Anyways, we did TONS of stuff....
We went to the lake a couple of days; one day it was all girls (which was so nice :D)
and another day Emily K. Austin and Lee and Maitlyn were there, and afterwards Sister Sharon invited us to their house for dinner, which was. AMAZING.
Who knew Lee Wouters was such a great cook?
And after we finished dinner, they told us stories about their granddad.

While I was down there, we also celebrated Aunt Melissa's birthday!
Whitney and I woke up at 6 a.m. to make her breakfast in bed :D
Then she told us her list of what she would like to do on her birthday.
Playing Nertz and dancing the electric slide was part of that list.
Sooooo, at 11:30 p.m. Savanna, Graham, Whitney, Aunt Melissa, and I all danced to several dances, and then we played Nertz until nearly 1 a.m.
I have to say, it was a great birthday!

And what else happened.....
Oh yeah!
WE WENT TO THE COLDPLAY CONCERT!!!!!!!!!
All of the Pritchett kids plus Maggie and Mary-John came up to Nashville for the concert...
It was my first concert and let me tell you....
Oh. My. Gosh.
There are no words to describe what an amazing concert it was!
Howling Bells and Snow Patrol opened for them, and they were so good.

And, we also got to meet Erin McCarley, K.S. Rhoads, Andy Davis, and Tyler James (from ten out of tenn) So that made it even better.

Have a wonderful day!!
