Don't Sail Away

I always do this, open up a new post, I'm pumped to write this...
I start, get going, and then BAM!!! distraction. I started writing this post a few weeks ago.
It was going to be about How Mary-John, Maggie, and Whitney came up and suprised me.
See, that weekend i had a play "Little Women" and one show got cancelled so not many people could come, I was a little down at that, and THEN the BEST SUPRISE!!! really....
They are the best friends anyone could ever ask for. So on Sunday (this was December 12-13, in case you were curious) we went to Dr. Grant's church, and then...I almost did it again! eh.
Then after church we walked around downtown Franklin. It's so beautiful there, and we had such a fun time! I'm going to see if I can put some pictures...

I'm dreaming of a white...(2 weeks before)....Christmas...

So, I really need to fix this....I've been slacking off on my blogger responsibilities.
I should be punished.....maybe my parents will ground me from school, so that I can really devote my time to blogging, and learning the responsibility of...journaling.

Speaking of Journaling....
Last night it began to snow. Well, I'll just tell you everything in great detail that happened..
Friday and Saturday were suppose to be our performance days for "A Franklin Christmas", which was showing 2 plays, Gift of the Magi and Little Women (I'm playing Amy in Little Women), but anyways, last night was our dress rehearsal, and when we finished, other people starting yelling "it's snowing!! it's snowing!!" Little did we know that the slushy rain-snow would turn into a storm of white flakes, quickly covering the ground (and the roads) with a blanket of white. As Jordan said, "i think it covered the ground in 30 seconds, that's how fast it came," mind you, he started out saying it took 3 minutes, and changed it to 30 seconds...a little exaggerating... :)
anyways....where was I? oh right.
So everyone at the theater was shocked because we NEVER get snow this early. never. So much for Global Warming*
So everyone hoped we'd get out of school for our small amount of snow...and we did. I think it was a good day off for everyone before our exams next week.
Now the sun is waking up and starting to melt the snow...So I think I'll go make some snowballs or something to throw at my brothers when they wake up and all the snow is gone..
if only I had a twin to enjoy this with.... who lived here........in Tennessee.......with me...........

*I heard on the radio the other day that the UN said Global Warming is definitely a fact ...despite the fact that there are twice as many scientists that say it's NOT real that say it is................it made me laugh.

Bon apres-midi!!

About time....

I figured it was about time I post once more...

I think my previous post scared some people...it didn't mean anything, I promise..

So....A couple weeks ago I sat down at the computer and began to write a post about sailing.

I got distracted...and we all know how that goes, so I ended up not finishing the post and still haven't posted since then...I think it's a bit ridiculous. Forgive me.

I suppose I should tell y'all about the sailing.

School was out for fall break, so of course, where do we go? Alabama. and that is completely fine with me. I love going to Alabama! I wish i could be there now, in fact.

So we went down friday. Saturday we (the girls) had plans to have a photoshoot. BUT, Uncle John fixed the sailboat motor, so plans were changed and we went sailing.

On the sailboat: Uncle John, Maggie, Mary-John, Emily Hutchins, and myself

So we set off on our journey around noon, and we were out there for hours, even though it only seemed like half an hour. Either way, it was so much fun, just the simplicity, and no distractions. We played M.A.S.H. oh boy. THAT was interesting. We just talked, laughed, ate Jack's fried chicken (oh so good) and helped uncle John by undoing the rope at the right times.....(which I failed at...the easiest thing, and I messed up.)

We almost fell off the boat a few times, even though Uncle John said the boat was impossible to fliip (he never said anything about the people being impossible to flip off... )

And we tested Uncle John's judgement of distance; we sailed under Duncan Bridge. and we made it without hitting the bottom of the bridge. On the way back, we turned the motor on and at one point Maggie steered, and so did Mary-John...(she almost killed us.....) (....) (......ok not really. She did really well.... good job johnnie).

On the way back, we decided to drop in on the Porter family. Even though we were almost there, Maggie was still debating whether to actually go or not.............. we ended up going.

At the Porter's, we only planned on staying very shortly.........but we were convinced into staying for dinner...and then we stayed until 9:30...

We all pitched in while making dinner, which was homemade pizza (oh.....my.....sooooo good!) and then later some of us walked through the christmas trees and to the tree house.

the handle for the zip line (is that what it's called?) broke while Ryan was testing it...obviously that was a failed test. We laughed, until it clicked in our heads that he could've gotten hurt. (he was ok.) Then we walked back, and hung out for a bit longer until we had to leave.

So overall, that weekend was absolutely amazing.

I had to go back home.

I left my glasses at the wayward house for girls....and Brett (a.k.a. the Blevins' household)

We performed Romeo & Juliet

And almost a month later we're back in Alabama. (!!!!)

I skipped school on Friday and we came down early. As usual it was SO great to be back.

This was last weekend and also the November meeting at Zion Rest PBC.

Elder Glen Blanchard preached, and it was just amazing preaching.

Saturday night we went to the Kitchens' house and we had lots of fun with everyone there.

-Today is Saturday.

--It's been ONE week

---Since the meeting.....

----It's been FIVE weeks

-----Since the sailboat/porters

And hopefully Monday or Tuesday I will be back in Alabama.
We will once more make fond memories.

Today:

-I put records up on my wall

-I haven't been coughing as much as yesterday (and as I type this I cough, seriously, I'm coughing.)

-My lips are chapped

-Me and my friend Kari went to see Twilight. (which was sooo good, btw)

-I came home and have been trying to write this post

-You can stop reading now, because it's probably not very interesting, and it's pretty long.

wait, wait, keep reading.

Calvin is so incredibly intelligent for a 6 year-old.

Have a nice day, thank you so very much for reading, sorry it is so long....
(comment if you would like to :D)

For Charlie...

Torturing Charlie is fun....muahahaha.....
So, what i recommend doing is evading her questions in every possible way until eventually she beats it out of you.....and formulate some sort of clever remarks.......

This may cause internal happiness....
This may also entertain and easily amusable person...

Oh and by the way, she told me I should post, and I could not think of a clever, interesting post, so i based it off of a recent (as in, a conversation within 2 seconds) conversation.

Good day to you all!

Here We Go Again......

So.

Here we go again with the whole "blog thing"

I have a hard time keeping up with a journal.......not so sure a thing that's basically an internet journal will be much better, but we'll see!

you know what's a bit odd?
well, since you asked, I find it humorous that i'm acting like i'm actually talking to someone, but in all honesty, probably no one will read this blog with the exception of my dear Charlie.

Charlie (a.k.a. Mary-John, a.k.a. Awesome, a.k.a. Captain Random-crazy-face-girl-with-the-hair-girl, a.k.a. my best friend. ever. :D)

aaaaaaaand.......she's racist. except not really for any strangers who might be creepy and stalking me, because i've told no one but Charlie, therefore, no other human being should know about this blog. soooooooooo my point is to stop stalking me.

And to start this blog off with some good news, I have the part as "Amy" in Little Women, which Franklin High is doing. I'm not satisfied with the previous statement. Little Women is going to be a small, student directed play. aaaaaaaanyways.

The Point Of This Blog Is To Write Every Word With A Capital Letter. not really.......that was stupid.....sorry.

Also, another side note, I can't take credit for the brilliant title of my blog, my witty friend Charlie hath madeth it...eth.

so, good day to you all!
